I have been using this concealer for four or five years now and I think it is by far the best out there. You need to make sure you first put on a good moisturizer before applying , otherwise it does not absorb as well into your skin and it can look dry and flakey.
I have a slightly pinkish medium complexion (some say it's olive but it's really not) and I used the "beige" color for years. One day a sales girl at the Nordstrom counter suggested I try Ocre instead. I was shocked at how much better a match the Ocre was for my skin color after years of using the beige. Bottom line, you need to "try it on" for the perfect color, but this concealer will not disappoint as long as you moisturize first. My dark circles are so bad that I have to layer it on a few times for full coverage. . Yes, it is pricy, but one tube will last you a good 6 months!
The price tag is hard to swallow, I know but this concealer provides me with all day coverage and a confidence that is priceless. I spent years searching for an effortless concealer to blur my unsightly port-wine birthmark and this one does it for me. I start with a hydrating eye cream and SPF facial moisturizer, followed by a thin layer of primer and tinted moisturizer. Then I apply the concealer to my problem area using a damp sponge (the damp sponge really is key for me), brush on a light finishing powder, spritz a little finishing spray and voila !!! All day coverage - an I'm an ER nurse who works 12 hour shifts. One tube lasts me approx. 8-9 months with daily use but I do not use this concealer for under-eye (I use Bobbi Brown for that because it's creamier). Hope that helps !!! Happy Shopping :-)

This is the best concealer (and most expensive) I've ever used - but worth it. You must use a light touch and apply just the tinest amount for great all-day coverage. It does not wind up in creases, making my wrinkles look more pronounced like some concealer do. I use La Mer's tinted moisturizer over the concealer for all day, lightweight, but great coverage. My skin is benefiting from this winning combo of products!
