I have invested a lot of time and money into finding the perfect foundation and concealer over the years. Armani has fulfilled the former, and although I love the coverage of Chantecaille's Total Concealer, I prefer a stick formula over a pot for hygiene reasons, so I kept searching. After coming across glowing editorial reviews of Cle de Peau's concealer, I finally decided to splurge. I can see why some women may love this, but I found the size of the stick too large, which made application difficult to manage, especially given the heavy coverage of the product. I also disliked the powdery matte finish. Regardless of how I applied and/or blended it, it did not appear natural and was apparent to me on my skin. The Chantecaille concealer has always disappeared into my complexion while still covering what it needs to. So hey, I guess I can't have it all, but I'll choose a formula that still looks like my skin over a stick. And $33 less at that!
This really does a great job concealing my undereyes. The texture is perfect too. Not during at all, and not too oily. The only thing is the sticker price, hopefully the tube will lady me a while!
Application (over a moisturized face) is very smooth and easy. Blends really well. But not at all worth $70 for a small stick of concealer. As nice as the application is, it doesn't cover my dark circles any better than what I used before - Cover Girl concealer for $6!
This is the best concealer out there. I can use it as a fundation to cover up my acne scars on my face. With concealer I don't really need to use fundation or bb cream because it does everything you need.
