Hooded trench with great fabric & fit

Prosflattering, high quality, classic
I was excited to find a trench coat that was sufficiently dressy for work that also had a hood. The fabric is water repellant and wicking, and the fit is generally flattering. The only negatives are (1) the belt is too high on the waist for a tall person (I am 5'10")--it ties right below my bust--which I solved by tying the belt in back and (2) there is no way of adjusting the hood, which perilously blocks your peripheral vision when it is up and makes you more likely to get hit by a taxi in NYC.

I was hesitant since I am about 10 years younger than the average reviewer of this coat. However, once I put it on it was an excellent fit and looks not only lady-like but very high quality. I tried on the Burberry trench the same fitting as this coat, and I can honestly say that this one is a complete steal compared to that one. Lots of the same features and the look is just as classy. I am 5'3" and 120lbs and the XS has the tailored look I wanted. The Small had too long of sleeves and the shoulders were a tad wide that I looked like a little girl trying to wear a woman's coat. I won't be wearing bulky sweaters under this, but that is not the intention of the coat.

Lovely trench but run big

I order Extra Small but still too big for me so I have to return it. But the coat is lovely and very good quality. So you will need to order one size small if you need a good trench. I am sad the size does not fit.

I am a true size 16 but this doesn't fit my upper arms. I returned the coat. Also it is heavier than I expected. And maybe this shorter length is what's popular these days but I think it's awkward. I will stick to London Fog in the future.
