The hood on this coat will make it practical in a downpour. It's a classic, well-made trench that I expect to wear for several seasons. I purchased the small. Am 5'5" tall and 127 lbs and athletic (muscular shoulders). Usually a size 4. It's fitted, but not too tight. And I can wear it over a midweight sweater. It will be tight over a bulky sweater or blazer. Not too trendy, but not too boring either. Good over skirts for business, or jeans for casual wear.

Prosclassic, versatile
This coat is just what I have been looking for: a raincoat with trench styling but not over-the-top details. Love the hood and the waterproof fabric. The length is perfect for my 5'8" frame, too. It does run a bit small but after reading the reviews I picked the right size off the rack the first time. The sale price makes it even better.

This trenchcoat is the total package. It fits nicely, without looking too boxy or bulky. It also has an attached hood, which is difficult to find on many trenches. I would definitely recommend it!

Prossturdy, basic
I just received this in the mail today in the black colour. Living in the Pacific Northwest, I see more torrential downpours than I'd like. I'm so optimistic that this will keep me drier this fall. This coat is a little thicker than most, but has all of the features you'd expect in a trench coat. I like the thickness of the material, slight sheen, ample pockets. I have a couple of **little wishes** that I would change the coat. 1)The coat fits great with regular clothing, but I do worry that if i add layers of clothing underneath that it might fit too tightly: just a minor concern. 2) I wish the belt was longer. As you can see in the photo it's only halfway tied. That's about how it fits on me as well. I would love to have a full bow tie. Other than these 2 little faults, I like the knee-length and construction of the coat. The hood is generous in size, which is a big plus! Happy buy!
