I have narrow feet and a bunion. It is hard to get the correct width on each foot with only one pair of shoes. The velcro closing lets me adjust to the right level of comfort on each. Since this is "sandals with socks" country, they can also accomodate the extra bulk of a thin sock. There is good arch support, but I did need to go up a half size to get a better fit. The soles do not slip on smooth surfaces. The blue color was true to the picture and looks great with my jeans. My only problem has been that one strap rubbed uncomfortably on a bony spot on the top of my foot. Easily fixed with a bandaid on the foot. Most people would not have this odd knob anyway. For those of us who value comfort over the latest style, these are great.

I was so excited when I ordered these; they look so comfortable, stylish and versatile, sadly they were all of these things but "too, too small". I even ordered them a half size larger than my normal shoe size and my toes were hanging over the edge. Too bad, because they did feel nice and soft when I put them on. Oh, they also ran pretty tight across the instep. Anyone with a higher instep should try another style of sandal. Definitely had to return them, but bought a pair of "Tom's" shoes in their place. While not sandals, the "Tom's" are quite comfy and run very nicely.
I have returned this sandal because of the fit and the material was not very soft.

I have a pair of SoftWalk slides that are very comfortable but wearing out. I ordered these because I knew the comfort level and cushioning for the foot would be great. It was, but the back strap hit me wrong and it lacks Velcro for adjustability. Big mistake, SoftWalk. I had to return them.
