True to size (perfect fit), instantly comfortable, good quality, go with most everything, great buy and our little guy (nearly 5yo) likes them! Only 4stars because they're not leather lined like the Primigis, etc. that we buy, but just perfect for what they are.
Big sis (9yo) got Sperry's in the matte gold/platinum color and also thinks they're instantly comfy --no break-in needed, and wears them endlessly. ('Authentic Original,' in-store, not online in the gold or silver)
fyi --a double knot is helpful to keep the leather laces from coming undone, but once you find the right tightness they can be slipped on and off without untying and tying. It helps to have the kids slip them part way off and on a few times to stretch the tie/knot to the right position.

I guess sperrys are the in shoe right now with the kids. My kids have them in several colors and styles. They tend to run a 1/2 size big but they last forever. Its a great casual shoe and school shoe!

I purchased this shoe for my oldest son and I was just amazed at the quality and the price. He absolutely loves the shoes and always comments on how comfy they are. I just purchased another pair for the youngest son and I am sure he will be pleased.
