I bought this hair straightener two months ago. It heats up quickly and is light weight which is perfect for traveling. I like the option to change the heat setting unlike the CHI products. This does a good job of straightening hair with one pass and curling hair.

Is it better to spend more than 160$ on a flat iron risking it breaking again? Or buy something for less that doesn't work at all?
One great thing about this particular design, is the on off switch This means you can keep plugged in, and risk less damage from putting in and out of drawer. But, the Swivel Cord attachment Catches the edge of the Counter...
Having Fine hair, It snagged from the get go, but I gave it a chance... And ended up breaking sooner than I would expect...less than a YEAR!
