This gorgeous dress has exceeded ALL my expectations. My daughter's wedding is in February and I am so happy and relieved to have this dress. Everyone that I have shown it to has been stunned by how appropriate and beautiful it is. I am so thankful to have it. I followed the measurement chart and it looks like it was tailored to fit me.

A beautifully made dress, both elegant and comfortable. I am 5'6", 150 lbs, 36B, with the extra ten menopausal pounds right 'round the middle at 60...The MEDIUM fit perfectly, draped nicely, bound nowhere, and could easily fit a 36 C+. The unlined jacket is perfect with trumpet sleeves & small shoulder pads; dress lining is tacked down near the bottom. At step-son's wedding, I received a ridiculous number of compliments, from strangers as well! I don't see the 'Champagne' color right now, but it was exactly as pictured, not gold, not beige, with nice 'sparkles' in the fabric. Only caveat: Lovely lacey fabric may catch on things...esp when getting in/out of limo, dancing in heels, etc... well above the ankle, almost tea length on me...

I was hesitant to order a mother-of-the-groom dress online, but my experience with this dress--and Nordstrom service--was fabulous. The dress was backordered, yet Nordstrom shipped it the day before the projected date, so I had it in plenty of time to make sure the fit was good. The dress spans two sizes, 8 -10 being a Medium, and I was concerned that, as a 10 - 12 currently, it might be too snug. The dress is somewhat forgiving, and I actually had people stop me to check out the dress. It is stunning! I've already worn it to another event, and my daughter asked me to wear it to a graduate school gala. In other words, very versatile. It's also quite sturdy, considering the fine work on it: I've caught it several times, yet it hasn't torn at all. My favorite feature of the dress is its hemline, which flairs slightly.

I ordered this dress for my daughters wedding in May 2012. I love the dress, The champagne color is a little bit darker than in the picture, which is great. I can't wait to wear it.
