Great dress if you are 'hot'

I really agonized over finding a dress that would not make me sweat. I mainly stick to cotton blend fabrics and almost every dress I found was a poly blend that immediately makes me hot ..add that with a few hot flashes ...and an outdoor wedding in July in the Midwest. The dress is 100percent silk with generous armholes. I was able to stay cool until the ceremony started...I didn't wear spanks either...just a simple snug panty. I felt like I was wearing a silk nightgown. Got compliments all night long and felt great. Best dress i've ever had

This is the fourth dress I tried. It is comfortable, beautiful and well-made. I have the XL in Espresso. I'm 5'8'' 170 lb and the fit is great, tea length for me. I'm looking forward to my son's Wedding in August. Thanks to Nordstrom for the return policy and their helpfullness at customer's srevice.

I had been shopping for a MOB dress for months. As I will never see 70 years of age again, the hunt for a suitable dress had become overwhelming. I found two dresses online; unfortunately one I wanted was back-ordered for months. However the second dress, although back-ordered, arrived in time for the wedding and is absolutely beautiful--just perfect. The champagne color is ideal for me (fair skin w/reddish hair). The jacket is as elegant as the dress and the shawl collar adds just the right touch for someone a little stooped. I was pleased that the sleeves were full length with scalloped ends. I received many compliments--when you look good, you feel good. This was my first time to shop online w/Nordstrom. I recommend Nordstrom & this dress!! Love it! Love it!

I love these soulmates dresses. I ordered four different colors but decided on champagne for my daughter's June wedding. I am 5'3 dress comes down to ankle . I like the look it looks more formal. I think they are very different which I was looking for - not the usual Mother of Bride look. I wish they came in more colors.
