I used to love Spanx, They smooth things out nicely and aren't horribly uncomfortable. However, the last couple of times I've purchased a pair, they have run the first time I've worn them. For the price, they should hold up much, much better.

Wow, Did that just happen?

As a Spanx Lover, I was so excited about wearing this new pair to a winter wedding. They feel light, comfortable, and give you the smoothness and support that you expect from Spanx. The color was perfect and flawless, as if I had those perfectly smooth legs all year round. Unfortunately, we didn't even make it in to the reception together due to an instant run on the thigh after pulling them up during a washroom break. I couldn't believe what had just happened. To roll with it, I just ripped off both nylon legs so I could continue to wear the support brief for the rest of the evening. I feel cheated. I could have made it through the evening longer with a cheap pair of hosiery, but I trusted Spanx with all my past experiences.
