Smoothing, yes; slimming, not so much ...

I used the size chart on the back of the package to determine what size I needed. My first clue that it was too large should have been how easily it went on -- no tugging needed. It smoothed everything pretty well, which definitely improved my appearance, but it was too loose to have any kind of slimming effect. Next time, I'll buy a size smaller.

Controls enough

Proscomfortable

I wouldn't say it's an uncomfortable, suck you in, control. It is very subtle. It won't hide the flaws completely, but it will manage them a little. Don't stop exercising!

Prosthe best

These are awesome. I have bought control pants before from a different manufacturer and they don't compare to Spanx. The discreet hole is a plus so you don't have to worry about using the bathroom!
