My monitor shows this as more of a deeper rose with a bit of purple included but upon looking at it in the tube, it is actually more of a red color with bits of blue highlights. At first thought, I thought, "Oh no this color will never work for my skin tone." Anymore I have fair to med. fair skin tone with red undertone. I tried it anyway and found that I like it very much. I think the blue highlights in this shade is what makes it work for my skin tone. I think just about any one could wear this shade. It is not one of those shades that stand out and glare at people but a quiet, lovely shade that one can wear daily. It has a classic beauty about it. Chanel lipsticks speak for their self, luxury in a tube. It is very creamy and goes on smoothly. I find that it last for hours and hours with one application and it does not have a heavy feeling even though it is a full coverage lipstick. One swipe over my lips leaves a light coverage but I like a little deeper shade so I swipe over twice and that is all I need for my day. It has that lovely light scent that I love so much and I hope they never change this. So many of the Chanel lipsticks that I would love to buy have no scent included anymore and that makes me not try them. If you love the classic Chanel scent and a lovely rose with a bit of blue, this lipstick is for you.
This lipstick is a basic color that seems to coordinate with most of the colors in my wardrobe and does a great job of hydrating my lips, which tend to be very dry in the winter. Other lipsticks in the brown/red color family seem to dry my lips, rather than help them maintain moisture. I give this one the highest rating.
I love the lipsticks and that is all I usually wear. They last and the colors are wonderful. I love Camila.......and this goes with so much and I apply a chanel lip gloss on top or in the middle of my lipsick..........I have to have this color.........radiant and amazing..........make sure you listen for the perfect click as you close the top of the lipstick.........it was made just for Rouge Coco and I love when people ask me what I am wearing in lipstick and I say Rouge CoCo and if you look in the mirror as you say this it is like you are blowing a kiss,.,,,,,,,,,,,so much work and design with Rouge Coco........Don't get a new hair doo just get Rouge coco lipstick and you will be very happy.
