This foundation has a true dewy finish and goes on very smoothly. You do have to set it if you don’t want it to transfer. I got the shade 20 Clair as I heard shade 07 ivory was very dark. 20 is also pretty dark and more orange toned as opposed to yellow, which i will have to mix with a foundation lightener. I wear shade 1W1 in ELDW for reference. This is the reason I’m giving 4 stars...Chanel should really think about improving the shade range for this bc I think many people would love this foundation if they could find their match.
As a 60 something, I need both coverage and moisture. While I often purchase lower end cosmetics for mascara, eyeliner and eyebrows, I’ve consistently purchased Chanel for many years as my liquid base, It’s pricey but goes a long way.
I have been using Vitalumiere for ten years I like the Soft Bisque which I have been mixing with Base Lumiere. I am ninety years old. I do not want to look overdone.
