I prefer cotton undies, and haven't had a pair as pretty as these in a long time. (There was an ancient Maidenform style bought at Costco I would kill to get more of!) The french cut looks best on me as I prefer "over the belly" but "not too much fabric" and I can use all the elongating I can get standing just shy of 5' 3" tall. Wirecutter (NY Times) gave these a good review, so I wanted to try them at Anniversary Sale prices. They are as good as I'd hoped, and miles better (softer, prettier, better fit) than the last package of Jockey cotton comfies I bought to replace aging pairs. I've always worn underpants in size 7 (clothing size 10/12), but recent mid life thickening at the waist made my try the Jockey in an 8 (most recent jeans were a ladies 14.) I ordered one each of the Natori Bliss Cotton in L and XL, not wanting to miss out on the correct fit and fearing creeping/rolling as reported by some reviews. Both sizes fit me comfortably in the Natori! This is probably due to their stretch? I will prefer the XL as I fear future shrinkage with cotton (though I typically air dry most laundry), but I will feel safe buying a L if a color I want is out of stock in XL.

These undies are paper thin and shrunk a size after the first wash.
