Prosupscale, comfortable, dark nice finish
I ordered two pairs of the Protege Straight Leg Jeans, Kent. I am 6'1" and weigh 210 and am in pretty good shape physically. Definitely not six-pack abs, but no "bread belly," either.
Normally, I wear either 35 or 36 waist and either 32 or 34 length. (The sizes at places like Banana Republic and J Crew vary so much, depending on who makes them, and which pair you pick up.) A size 35 waist was not offered, so I ordered 36/32 and 36/34.
I have never paid more than $100 for a pair of jeans before, as I grew up wearing Levis. But my wife wanted me to have a "dark" pair of jeans for going out to dinner and on dates with her. The expensive jeans at the department stores are too ornate for my liking, and the super slim jeans are just not for me. (I am 57.)
The 36/32 is maybe 3/4" to an inch too big. But it is only too large with regard to the closure around my waist band. Otherwise, the pants fit better than any jeans I have ever had. My wife likes them a lot. I imagine they will shrink a bit when washed, which would be fine, but even if they do not, they feel and look great when wearing a belt. (If i wore them before washing them, without a belt, they would be too big. I would be constantly pulling them up.)
I am sending the 36/34 back to get a second pair of 36/32. I am very happy with the purchase, because I never knew where to find the right jeans- until now.

The only problem with these jeans is that my husband wants to wear them everyday, and it is starting to get embarrassing :). He is 6'5 with athletic build, and they are a fantastic fit.
