The thigh band rolls up. All i want is a shaper so I don't have to resort to wearing a slip.

I was trying on a bunch of dresses and before I even put the first one on, I slid on a pair of the boy shorts. Ponte knit dresses, skirts and pants are very stylish for the upcoming fall/winter season and I wanted to make sure that all the small lumps and bumps don't get in the way. As for the sizing, I put on a medium and walked around and the leg did roll. I then put the large on and walked around and the leg didn't roll but the "hold" was the same as the medium. When it comes to undergarments, the sizing is just as important as the dress, skirt or pant. Very happy!

I ordered this to wear under a fitted dress. In the description, it was recommended to order one size up for a less-tight fit. According to the size chart, I wore "medium". I ordered the large and its perfect. Nice smooth fit under the satin stretch of the dress and comfortable as well.

I wore these shorts under a summer dress and the leg edges kept rolling up throughout the evening - so I had to return them. Even though it didn't work well for me, I would still recommend as a brand and style to try, especially since I do like other Spanx products
