Rear pinch

Style is good and sturdily made perhaps too sturdy since the heel pinched my left ankle and skinned it. Will break it down my wearing with socks.

Most comfortable shoe I own

Tried these after wearing Allen Edmonds' boat shoes for comfort for years. Still like the boat shoes, but these are more comfortable still. They feel buttery, like glove leather. New go-to casual shoes. Thanks, AE.

Rubs in the wrong places

I am a fan of AE shoes. I have several pairs and they are my go-tos. Usually Park Avenues. I bought these Boulders as a casual driving shoe and they’re fine as long as you don’t walk long distances. I’ve worn these several times mostly while standing around. But today, I walked a mile in them in the city and wow. Inside the heel is a seam that rubs your heel raw. Terrible placement for that patch. I can’t wait to throw these away when I get home today.
