fun sweatshirt

I own three of these James Perse sweatshirts so I really do like them a lot.
The only problem is the fabric pills after awhile.....thus the four stars. I don't think a $110 sweatshirt should ever pill. Other than that, they wash and dry nicely, travel well, and I always feel good when I wear them. They're great with casual bottoms when you need that light, extra layer.

as the other reviewers have said, this is sized pretty true to james perse sizing... a touch on the small side. i tried my normal size and one size up. both fit. (i wish i knew if this was going to shrink at all.) that would have made my decision to get the one size up much easier. in the end, i opted for the one size up because i wanted: a slightly looser fit, to allow for the possibility of it shrinking a little, and i already have a couple fitted sweatshirts. i think if you order your regular size, it will fit similar to how it looks on the model... not form fitting, but fitted. the material is thin, but not t-shirt thin. it's not your typical sweatshirt material. so if you're looking for a thick, comfy, winter sweatshirt, this isn't going to be it. although, it is comfy, just thinner. i didn't have any problems with it being see through (as another reviewer had). if you want to wear a shirt under this, definitely order up a size. if you want it to be a loose fitting sweatshirt, order up a size. if you want this to be a loose t-shirt style, then order your regular size.

i sincerely adore this shirt and crave them in a million different colors. unlike other reviews, i got the size 1 over the 2 because on me it looked kinda floppy in the middle with the larger size. personally i prefer the loose-fitted over a massive floppy sweatshirt look. i got the black and plum colors, both of which are flattering and go with just about everything. the shirt is also very soft. while the price tag is a bit much, it will be justified because you'll find yourself wearing it all the time.

My favorite top

I love this top and wish i could wear it every day. It has the comfort of a sweatshirt but does not look as frumpy as a regular sweatshirt would! It is a bit pricey but totally worth it because i feel so good when i wear it. It keeps you warm without being so thick.
