The dress is definitely "true to size". Being on the short side, I did have to get it hemmed shorter so, that it would hit above my knees but, I didn't mind because I wanted it to be perfect and it was afterwards.

The Perfect Little Black (Semi-Formal) Dress!

I adore this dress. When I saw it online, I knew it was perfect! I saw a lot of reviews that said it ran small and to definitely use the size chart (something I never do). So, I did, and the chart indicated I was a size 14. I normally wear a 10 but I thought I'd try it because it matched my measurements. Well, when I got it was like a bag on me. I realized the dress was at a local Nordstrom so I went there to exchange to find my right size (probably what I should have done in the first place!). And the size 8 was a perfect fit! That is one dress size lower than usual. Granted I had lost a little weight recently so maybe my size has decreased so I would suggest getting your normal size. Or go to the store to try it on! I am a 34D and the neckline isn't too revealing. You see just the right amount of cleavage. I love the detail on this dress and it is beautiful. I will be wearing it at my boyfriend's work holiday party and New Years Eve party. It is my new favorite dress and think it will be a go-to for many events. Highly recommend!
