This is a very pretty dress - purchased two for use as flower girl dresses for my 5 and a half and 3 and a half year old daughters. Both with the Peacock sash. I think they are over-priced, but all flower girls dresses are, really. My biggest complaint is that one of the dresses arrived with all of the buttons falling off. I went to button it on my daughter and every single button popped off in my hands. The other dress was fine, so I'm guessing this was just poor quality control on this dress. I'm taking it in today and hoping Nordys will fix it for me. Still for $100+ this seemed a little ridiculous. Might want to allow extra time to account for any issues. As other reviewers said this dress runs small. My 3 year-old is small for her age and still the size 4T fit her perfectly. She never would have fit in the 3T. My 5 year-old ended up with the 6. She is very thin and very tall for her age. Again, the 5 never would have fit. The chest is wear you will notice the fit - it's snug. I had also ordered the 6X for her, and the length was fine, but it gapped horribly in the chest area. The measurement guidelines on the website seem very accurate, so feel safe to use those as your guide. Dresses arrived very quickly, Nordstrom shipping is usually phenomenal.

This is a beautiful dress. I ordered this for my daughter who is going to be a flower girl in a wedding. Normally she wears size 10 but needed size 12 in this. I recommend the dress definitely.

As many people have said previously, please size up. My 2.5 year-old needed to wear the Little girl size 4. Now, she is tall for her age (taller than most 3 year-olds), but even the 4T was too tight in the bodice. I ordered the Little girl size 4, but had to have the length altered (made shorter). I want to commend Nordstrom on a very easy return (I ordered the dresses in March, but decided to go up a size just three weeks ago). I got the new dresses in plenty of time (even to have one altered) and never ran into a problem returning the original dresses. The dress was precious and my flower girls looked beautiful!!
