I saw other reviews that said these jeans may run a little small, I usually wear a 29/30 waist, so I bought a 31 and a 32 waist. The 31 fit great...the 32 too big. I love the fit of the legs these jeans have. They are slimming as they are a bit more tapered in the thigh area, so they do not bag around the thighs and seat. These are my first pair, I tried on various other Hudson styles, but for me this one fits best.

These are my go to jeans that I wear, all others True Religion, Lucky, Citizens & 7 are in my closet. These make your butt look great (perky) & elongate my short (5'1) legs. Super comfortable with the perfect amount of stretch. People say size down but honestly I did not. Although they are a tad loose on me (lost some weight) they still fit due to the nice stretch. These jeans are not stiff like JEANS can be. I swear by Hudsons. You won't regret it, these are a nice dark wash, my other ones are lighter so they are perfect. Need to get them hemmed even though they are petite they are still a tad on the longer side for me.

These are my go to jean... Love the fit and the fact that they are the perfect length. I don't have to take them to be shortened.
These jeans are definitely on the small side for a size 29--I would order up a size if you are debating a 29 or 30. I am going to keep them because I am losing some post-surgical weight and I think they will fit fine.
Nice fabric, the waistband is wide too which is nice since it helps to hide my belly a bit. I'm 5'3" and 140#.
The only bummer is that they are so expensive--hope they don't fade too quickly!
