I love bareMinerals! This powder is very sheer, but is still visible after applying a light coating. I like it because it does not exaggerate my under eye wrinkles. I would definitely recommend this powder to anyone with light colored skin. It may appear ashy on darker skin tones, however.
I have Bare Minerals products in the past and just started using them again. I ordered this Mineral Veil because of the SPF25. I thought it would be translucent like the regular Mineral Veil but it was too light on my Medium tone skin. My face looked too pale and ashy. The powder also felt a little grainy, not smooth when I brushed it on my face. Just returned this item today at Nordstrom and exchanged it for a Clarins eyeliner (since this Nordstrom didn't have a Bare Minerals counter).
I love the light powder to finish my face. Gives a little color and not as much coverage as foundation. Sometimes I even just wear this during summer or weekends.
This is the perfect setting powder, especially if you are more mature and do not want to age yourself with heavy powders. It is very light and sits well over makeup. This is my second time using this and will continue to use this product.
