This is the first mineral makeup I tried about (gulp) ten years ago and it is still my favorite. I tried others as they came on the market, but bare minerals offers the best coverage and is lightweight so it feels like I'm not wearing any makeup at all. It matches my skin perfectly to offer a natural flawless look. s

I only use this. There's no need for a heavy foundation underneath. It's great for my sensitive skin. Also the color blends well.

I've been using BareMinerals orignal loose foundation for over 8 years now. Everytime I try something new or reach out for a liquid foundation, I don't feel like my skin looks as nice and flawless. It's quite annoying to be honest because I have wasted hundreds of dollars on new foundations. I don't have acne but I do suffer from combo dry/oily skin with redness and spots on my cheeks from sun exposure. This covers everything up like magic. The key is to use a very moisturizing lotion on your face after cleansing. Let dry for 5 minutes, then follow with a nice primer. NYX angel veil primer works better than the BE oringal primer. Apply a good cream concealer under your eyes, blend & pat. Then take a large kabuki brush, swirl product into brush then buff buff buff away, gently and softly. Continue buffing and just when you think you are done, buff a little bit more, and add more as needed. I find it best to start on one side of my face, swirl more product into the brush, continue on my other side, then do my forehead and chin last. You don't need to really swirl & tap like they say... You are just wasting product by doing that. Make sure you follow with dusting some "well rested" under your eyes on top of the foundation, then finish off with BE orignal mineral veil. Pure perfection and glowing skin! I get compliments all the time, which never gets old. It's very natural looking too so you don't look like a clown. Yay!
