I've used bare minerals foundation for 10 years and always get compliments on how incredible my skin looks. The key is finding the correct shade for your skin tone and using very little product. If you use too much, it gets lodged in the wrinkles and you can look really made up. go easy! Best if you use their kabuki brush and really take the time to buff into your skin. I don't feel the need to use mineral veil unless you need oil control. I highly recommend this product. It's the best "foundation" I've ever used.
Very clean and not overpowering finish. It is such a natural finish most people cant even tell I have foundation on or they think I am wearing no makeup. Plus with the awesome built in sunscreen and the fact that it uses natural ingredients just makes it over the top. Been using for years and will continue to do so.

I've been using bare minerals for the last six years. I actually have never used any other kind of makeup, so maybe this review is a bit biased, but I love the way bare minerals feels on my skin. I hate it when people totally look like they're wearing makeup, this is so natural and light, yet covers any imperfections to make my skin look like its naturally beautiful (even when I'm having a breakout). I have combination skin, one part of my skin can be dry and flakey but an inch away my skin can be oily, but this makeup makes my skin feel even. My only complaint is that after eight hours of wear, I have a dewy sheen to my face and I'll have to either blot or try to redo my foundation. And layering the foundation on top of old foundation that I've been wearing all day can look pretty bad.
