I've wanted this jacket since I moved to NYC for college 5 years ago. I didn't realistically think that I would be getting it any time soon, but my mom surprised me with it for Christmas this year. I got it in black so it will go with everything, and I couldn't be happier with it!
I was a bit afraid that it wouldn't fit based on some of the reviews I've seen, but it's almost as if it was tailored for me. I am 5'9.5" and usually wear a size 6 or 8, and this jacket is surprisingly long enough in both the body and the arms! I cinched the waist with the belt in the back, and now it is perfect. The only thing I could be happier with is that I wish the arms were an inch or so longer so that I could always cuff them a little bit to show off the plaid. It just makes me that much more excited for spring so I can roll up the arms a bit!
The quality is just amazing - the buttons, which I thought were plastic, are actually metal; the lining of pockets is insanely soft; and the stitching and the way the buttons are sewn on will definitely last longer than most jackets. I highly recommend it!

Very nice quality and fit although I would definitely recommend ordering a size up than what you would normally wear. I am pretty small and the large is just right. Glad I ordered bigger.

I splurged and bought myself this jacket after Christmas. It is beautiful - very classic and comfortable and not too heavy. It definitely runs a little small, I am 5'2" with an athletic build, I usually wear a medium, but had to get a large. However, the strap in the back is adjustable!! There are 2 different button settings so if I'm wearing a sweater under the jacket I can use the 2 inner buttons, but if I wear a fitted blouse under, I can use the 2 outer buttons and it sinches my waist beautifully. I would highly recommend this coat.

Classic Burberry jacket

Prosclassic, well made, light yet warm
Loved this jacket since a year ago when purchased for my daughter for Christmas! Had to have my own! Fit is good but if you want to wear heavier sweaters I would go up a size. I'm a medium but went with the large. You can cinch the waste by moving the back belt over to the outer buttons. Looks great with jeans & boots for a casual look but it's Burberry so the look is classy!
