I purchased this along with the #187 hoping this would be the perfect foundation brush. After one week of use, I'm sorry to say it's no better than using my fingertips in terms of coverage and finish. I apply moisturizer and then primer and during the course of the week tried various foundations: Chanel oil free matte, Estee Lauder double wear light and a brand that Nordies doesn't carry. I wash my brushes daily and use a sleeve while they're drying so they return back to the like new form. On one side I applied the foundation using the brush and a swirling motion. On the other side of my face I used my fingertips. The fingertip side won each day. Sad to say I'm disappointed with this brush.

Used this brush to apply my liquid foundation for the first time this morning and I love the airbrushed effect. The application can be more precise (around nose and under eyes) and creates an even more flawless finish than the #187 which I own as well. I stipple the foundation and then buff in small circular motions. However, if I am in a rush I will use the #187 which covers more area in less time. I have yet to use it with powder or cream but will definitely experiment. There was little shedding (maybe a hair or 2) and it helped make my pores look smaller which is a huge plus! I have oily to combination skin with large pores. Your pores will disappear as you buff with this amazing brush. I applied Philosophy The Present Primer (pea size) and Makeup Forever HD Foundation (1 pump) with this brush.

Proshigh quality, easy to use
This is my favorite brush for applying creme blend blush and also foundation. I use this brush several times a week and I love it.

From the first time I used this brush, I love it . It is an excellent brush! I use it for cream blush. It applies just the right amount. I highly recommend it.
