I am very pleased with my purchase of this lipstick in the Sunrise color. It's a pretty summery coral with orange tones. It is very moisturizing and goes on smoothly. I recommend using a lip pencil with it to keep it from extending outside lip lines.

This is a wonderful lip product - smooth, not drying, nice color pigment- bought Sunrise - will be back for more shades. Quite new to this brand but loving it so far.

luxurious lip balm

Honest review here. Nothing special about this lipstick, it’s just a lip balm with a hint of color and it comes with a steep price tag.
This was the first time I have purchased a Chantacaille lipstick after reading only good things. I bought it in the shades Amour and Tea Rose, but when they arrived, I didn’t even try them on. As soon as I twisted them up in the tube, I knew the smell was going to be too off-putting. The product contains vanillin, so I expected it to smell like the other lipsticks with vanillin like MAC or Charlotte Tilbury which is slightly sweet and pleasant, but this was just musky and dank smelling. No thank you. On top of that, for the price of 38 dollars a pop, the packaging is incredibly cheap. It’s not sturdy at all, in fact the top wobbles when you twist the product up and the cap doesn’t click onto the tube in a way I don’t have much confidence it will stay there. And while the photos on the site make the tube look like metal, it’s actually plastic. The size is also disappointing; for a luxury priced item it feels more like a deluxe sample size. I returned both lipsticks unused immediately.
