This is lovely consistency. It definitely doesn’t break me out. It is moisturising, calming and brightening. My skin looks clear and lovely. I would never have purchased this but my husband chose it for me with the help of the space no store. I’m really glad he did.

I have had this recently over the winter, and it has saved my skin! It's so fresh and calming, and really helped to balance the constant aggressive change in temperatures from the AC to the heating and cold air. Adore Chantecaille products, and this one is no exception. So hydrating - even all over the eyes, to get rid of that crepe-y dryness. Skin looks so smooth and bright after using it, and it sinks in really well.

I love most Chantecaille products and this one does not disappoint... It is a hybrid between serum and essence in my opinion that maximise the effect of other products in your routine. I love the packaging and the pump dispenser that allows you to monitor how much of the product is left. And I also enjoy the smell although I understand that it maybe too strong for some. I would be happy to repurchase !
Vital essence is a product without strong fragrance and absorb fast , you will not feel sticky. The problem is I don’t know if this product does provide me hydration. I have very complex day skincare routine to make my makeup more long lasting and flawless. However, I can’t tell the difference with or without this product. In the night skincare routine, I can’t tell if my skin has any difference too. Therefore, I don’t think this is a failed product but you can find something cheaper to replace it
