essential serum

I have been using this serum for over two years day and sometimes night. It is great at giving an extra boost of moisture to the skin and it seems to even out my skin tone so that it looks in great condition. Great at stopping my skin drying out in winter and maintaining an even balance all day. I used to get dry patches, especially in winter, but haven't had any since I've been using this!

I like this product very much for its incredibly soothing properties. After a recent "allergic reaction" to another skincare range that I was was trialling, I returned to Chantecaille.This product help to calm the irritation and reduce the itchiness, redness and overall heat of the skin. You can use it all over the face including the eye area. It smells lovely and leaves your skin feeling cool, hydrated and dewy fresh. I actually prefer the version with Arbutin in it, though I can't exactly say why. In the summer I use it alone under a tinted moisturiser or the chantecaille primer with SPF50, in winter I use it under flower harmonising cream. A lovely product.

I've used this serum for 4 years..morning and night before using my usual moisturisers (Clarins). It's very hydrating, makes my skin feel incredible and I love the fact it is for your eyes as well. It's my 'must have' product and worth the price tag.

I used this serum and it caused me to breakout. I didn't get full on spots but I had a reaction to it and ended up with a bumpy forehead. I visited the counter and they thought it was a reaction to the seaweed in it. My forehead cleared up within a few days of discontinuing the use of this serum but I feel I should warn others of a similar reaction if they are sensitive to seaweed.
