Proslightweight, absorbs quickly
I have just recently started using this product (therefore only 4 stars) and very much like it underneath the Chantecaille cream. Both are non greasy and hydrate beautifully.

This has been a staple of mine for years. I consider it a value since many serums are only 1 oz whereas this is 1.7. For those of us with reactive sensitive skin that cannot use antiaging products, and those that have stressed skin, this is a must. For me it gives a clarity to my skin that no other product can. It is a light gel texture and smooths on very nicely. I use it all over my face and neck, even over the entire eye area. It also adds and retains a bit of moisture and wears well under moisturizers.and makeup. Again, if you are looking for dramatic results this is not for you - go for a retinol or glycolic instead. For my uber sensitive skin this will always be a repurchase.
I have fallen hard for Chantecaille, and this was one of the first products I tried. I have combination skin with an oily t-zone that can breakout without warming. I have used this serum on its own on humid days when a moisturizer would be too heavy, as well as under their Flower Harmonizing Cream and their Magnolia, Jasmine and Lily Healing Emulsion and it's worked wonderfully. I love that it is gentle, yet contains anti-aging properties we all want. The bottle itself (plastic) is designed really well, and is whimsical yet practical; you are able to see when you're running out of product. This serum can also be used on the delicate eye area. A lot of bang for the buck.

no need for makeup - worth the splurge

i hate that this product is so much because i can't live without it. i feel that with cleansers and moisturizers you don't necessarily need to bring out the big bucks to get quality products, but this stuff is amazing. it definitely changed the quality of my skin and i don't feel the need to wear heavy coverage makeup. the main reason i wear my daily powder is for the SPF coverage. in the summertime i actually don't use moisturizer, just this. love love love this.
