Non-oily, non-stripping, scent not too potent, cleanses easily. If your skin is combination, you will love the soft feeling after. It does not make skin taut as some others do. Don't let the tiny tube scare you. Using a size much smaller than a pea will be more than enough.

Chantecaille Rice and Geranium Foaming Cleanser earns three stars from me. It's a luxurious cleanser that feels great on the skin and has a pleasant scent. It does a decent job of removing makeup and impurities. However, it might be too harsh for sensitive skin types, causing dryness or irritation. Also, for the price, I expected a bit more hydration. Overall, it’s a nice cleanser but doesn’t fully justify the splurge.

Deep cleansing gentle cleanser

I love Chantecaille products but have very sensitive skin and was worried this cleanser might be too harsh. However I was pleasantly surprised it deeply cleansed my skin but caused no irritation at all. It removes all traces of makeup and spf and leaves skin feeling throughly cleansed without leaving skin feeling stripped of moisture. It has a silky smooth consistency and feels soothing on skin not anything like a typical foaming cleanser. A little goes a long way and it’s a great cleanser for all skin types. I personally don’t use it daily but reach for it mainly in the evening when I have a lot of makeup/spf/ daily grime to rinse away.
