Cleaned well but too drying for me

I found that this cleanser over cleaned my skin. It left my skin feeling slightly stripped and dry when I used it. A bit too squeaky clean. It also irritated my eyes, I think because of the perfume. I really wish that cleansers wouldn't use perfumes in their formulas. Having said this, I can imagine this would work really well for oily skin or during the summer when you wear a lot of sunscreen.

This is a really lovely, light and natural feeling cleanser. I received a sample to try and I found it really fresh with a lovely light scent. The foaming isn’t at all overpowering, I have fairly dry skin so I sometimes find foaming cleansers too drying, but not this one.

Just an average decent cleanser

It smells nice (faint rose), cleans well, rinses easily. Compact package so easy to carry around or travel with. Why only three stars? 1. It's a bit drying, even for my oily skin 2. Small size and high price tag. 3. The rice bran thing that is supposed to exfoliate doesn't really do anything.

Love the fact you can use this exfoliating cleanser everyday. Also perfect for sensitive skin. Takes off eye make up too. Leaves your skin feeling soft. The whole Chantecaille product range is excellent, this product is reasonably priced too and lasts for ages as you only need a small amount.
