Love all things Chantecaille (for the most part) but this is not really a balm, more of a lip gloss. Goes on sticky, didn’t feel that moisturizing or like it absorbed - just stayed on the surface. Packaging needs to be improved (as well as the product) for this price point.

My holy grail!

I was completely ready to be let down by this product. I’m always searching for something to help because my lips stay so chapped, & I’m a picker so I usuyemd up making myself bleed.
Most lip products are too much of a gloss, too waxy, or minty (which I hate). This is none of those things! Extremely light weight; almost like a heavy gloss texture, but not a gloss. It instantly softened my lips & lasted easy 3 times longer than any cheap chapstick I keep on hand.
Especially now, under the masks when you go out; it’s not sticky or heavy one bit

Almost perfect!

I’ve been dying to find a replacement for my soon-to-be-empty Dior Creme de Rose, so I have come across this as a candidate. I will say I’m almost fully satisfied with it. It has a soft scent, and ever so light pink glaze to it, very similar to Dior. However the consistency is nowhere near as balmy as I wanted! Lip POTION is for sure, this is quite...goopy. I would only wish this was a little thicker in consistency, because I found I reapplied it often enough that made the price tag worrisome. Healing, softening, and worked wonders on dry dry dry (I’m talking parched) winter lips! BUT I applied it like crazy because it’s thinner than the balms I’m used to (and nowhere near the perfection of Creme de Rose).
i wouldn’t call this a lip “potion” nor, a lip “balm”. it’s more like a gloss. it’s quite goopy and doesn’t last very long. nor, does it hydrate the way a balm should. i bought this to keep on my nightstand to use before i sleep but it’ll just be thrown in my handbag.
