These are definitely the way to go if you are short like me and only 5'1". I would have preferred the original but it is just too tall. These are wider in the ankle and shaft but it's not to much to where they look funny.

I bought these in Navy. They are exactly what I wanted. A friend of mine, who is taller than me, has a pair of the tall style. She didn't like how the tops rub together when walking and tend to pinch when sitting. Looking at the different styles, I chose these because they're the perfect length. I'm 5'6" and they come just to the middle of my calf. The calf is just the right size around for me. It helped to check the measurements of the height and circumference of the boot to my leg so I knew what I was getting. Also, I have a high arch and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to easily slip into the original style Hunter boots. These are a little roomier in the ankle and they slipped right on. I'm a size 8 and I bought an 8. They are roomy enough for thick socks but don't feel too big with thin ones. They arrived in 4business days. They are really cute!! Can't wait for a rainy day.

Love fit, not sure on color

They are more green than I expected, can't decide if I want to keep them or exchange for navy or gray instead. They are fun and stylish, I just think I will wear them less in this color. I was expecting them to be a bit more almond. Fit is great! I am 5'2" so the height is great-the Classic style buckled when I walked because they hit my knees. The shorter style cut me off in the wrong spot so the huntress is a great option.

Def buy the socks too because the boots run big. I'm a size 7 and I ordered a 7. Without the big hunter socks, it would not have worked.
