I purchased these due to larger calf size. I work out quite a bit these fit perfectly with room to spare. Not as tall as original hunters but very cute and keep feet dry plus warm with welly socks. I got an 8 I normally wear a 8.5 or 9. It is best to down size.

Not wide enough!

i am usually a 9, so i ordered a 9 and number one they were way to big in the foot area definitely needed an 8, and they were so tight on my calves that they started bunching at the ankle. Would have needed another half an inch on the calves easy. Very disappointing because i really love them and wanted a pair!

The Right Fit

I was given the Original Tall Hunter in Purple Gloss with the Cable Knit Welly Inserts and it just felt too tight when tucked into jeans. I exchanged them for the wide calf Huntress boots in flat black and I love them! They are very roomy to wear thick socks and leg warmers or knee high socks over jeans. I would suggest these boots over the Original Hunter's. I normally wear a 7.5 and I got the 7 and they fit great!

I love the boots, very stylish and comfortable. My ONLY issue is that they are a tad wide in the heal area. Otherwise I love them!
