The Hunters that I have been looking for!

These are a great alternative to the Hunter original tall boots if you are a bit shorter (I'm 5'4") and have larger calves. I tried the original tall and they were too narrow in the calf area and too tall for my legs. The adjustable back Hunter boots were very roomy in the calf area, but still too tall. The Huntress takes care of both issues in that they have a roomier calf area and aren't quite as tall as the original and adjustable back models. My calves measure about 14.5 inches and these boots allow for me to tuck in my jeans. There isn't much room left once I do that, but they work for me. I normally wear a 9.5 in shoes and the 9 in these boots fits great. I'm glad that I finally found the correct boots for me!

Prosrain boot, cute, comfortable, protective
I recently purchased this boot and I really couldn't be happier. The boot is not super tight so feet and ankles still have room to bend as they need to and the sizing is spot on, I'm a 7.5 and the salesperson recommended to buy a size down. An 8 would have had too much room and been totally uncomfortable. I have worn them in the rain and come home with perfectly dry sock and pant legs. The only wish I have is that the huntress came in more colors. I don't need a plethora of choices but it would have been nice to see a pink or pattern in my color choices.

Perfect for petites

I ordered the regular boot first, but the 16" shaft was uncomfortable for my short legs. These have a 15" shaft and are really comfortable. I also like the wider circumfrance as it is much easier to put on and take off. Much better for petites! I ordered a size smaller than my regular shoe size snd they are perfect.
