I received these boots for my birthday and I love them! I am normally a size 7 but I had to return for a size 6. I also got the inserts but they really change how the boot fits. I'm not sure if I will keep the inserts. With tights and socks, they are warm enough for cold days, but certainly not warm enough to wear outside in the snow all day.

I have been looking for wide calf rain boots for years. And FINALLY they exist! So happy. Now I just need more colors. I love that they aren't too tall.
These would be a great idea, if the calf was "tall". As it is, the widest part of the boot ends at the widest part of your calf and makes it look even wider. Also, the wide calf extends down to the ankle making it sloppy around the ankle. If they were tall, and the ankle the same as the regular "tall" boots, it would work. I sent them back, and then just ordered the next size up in the tall-- that worked much better.
Although these boots are rubber I think they are so versatile! They look cute with skinnies, leggings, casual dresses or skirts and pretty much everything! I normally wear a size 9.5 or 10, but the 9's fit perfectly. I don't have huge calves but they are a little more muscular so I'm glad I went with the wide calf. They fit perfectly. I definitely recommend going down a size.
