I ordered these thinking that maybe there would be just a little more room, but these are very wide, at least for me. I guess I got what I ordered. But, if your looking for a little more space than the usual boot, I wouldn't order these.
I ordered the (narrow?) initially but I could barely pop my stockinged leg into it, let alone the fleece insert. I wear a 9 1/2 or ten but went with ten. I have short ankles so it gives me the roominess I want. They're warm and adorable. If you generally purchase (but don't necessarily need) a wide calf boot you will love!!!!
The huntress boot is shorter than the original tall rain boot. If looking to achieve the same look as the tall boot, I would suggest the adjustable calf boot.I exchanged this boot for the adjustable one. It has a neater look and does not gap while walking. The adjustment lets you adjust the tightness as you wish for wearing the socks.
