Not for a taller woman

I purchased this boot for my daughter; here is her review: Well...the foot/shoe part of the boot fit comfortably and felt warm, which is why I wanted the boots in the first place. However, with me being taller than the average woman, the shaft of the boot did not fit as I had hoped. Though the calf part was comfortable, it fit too close and could only be worn with leggings or tights. There was also a weird gap in the boot, since it didn't hit where it was supposed to on me, due to my height.

I am a girl with serious muscular calves and a LOVE for boots but when Hunters first became popular they didn't fit my calves... Sometimes wide calf boots look dorky and too short but these are Perfect!!! not too wide, not too short...Just right! they do however run big, I am an 8.5 - 9 in most shoes and the nine would have been HUGE

These hunter boots are great! The regular hunter boots were just a tad too small, so I was excited they had boots for a wider calf! These fit great and provide plenty of room for pants/socks. The ankle area IS rather big and there's a lot of room but that doesn't bother me. I usually wear a 7 but I ordered a 6 in these and they fit perfectly. Can't wait for some rainy/snowy weather here in Ohio!

Glad Nordstrom offers this "wide calf" option for those of us who want to look good but can't wear a "skinny" boot.
