Prospoorly made
I purchased these boots regardless of what I read on this site but I should have listened and not bought these boots. The calf part of the boot was fine but they were so big at the ankle I couldn't believe it. I wouldn't recommend these boots.

Proswell made, comfortablr
Grest for wide calves. I tossed all of my other too tight/uncomfortable rain boots. I went a size down, though and they fit well.

Proscame apart, great fit., comfortable, classic, miss them
ConsNarrow width
I wore the boots for about 2 months. The rubber came apart at just above the lower boot support around the bottom of the boot.
This occurred on both left and right boot at just forward of the instep.
Bad construction design, or poor quality materials.
I would purchase again if the boot were of better quality. I bought them initially because of classic look, not trendy, and very functional as rain boot. I miss having them.

If you are short these are for you!

Prosdurable
ConsMedium width
Yes, the title is odd, but these boots are the the perfect height for short people. I love the look of Hunter boots but all the styles cut into my kneecap and I didn't want the ankle style. I still wanted tall boots. Plus, I could never get them off easily! Then, the salesperson told me the wider calf are shorter. They are, stopping right below the knee. (I'm 5'2). Easy to pull off. I'm not completely sold on them because although they run big (I'm a solid 8, but needed a 7 in these, with STILL a little more room than I like), the fit is very boxy and roomy, almost like wader boots for fisherman. I would not feel stable enough if I had to do anything more than a real slow walk. There is no support at the ankle, and that's why you hear about the cankle postings. Here is why I am keeping them though: my priority was getting a rain boot that wouldn't "crack" after one season (like that other brand I buy that is cheaper). I'm hoping these will hold up for years without cracking.
