A little disappointing

When I saw Hunter designed a wider calf boot, I was excited to get a pair. But when I received the boots I was a little disappointed that they made the boot shaft shorter than the regular tall boot & bigger all around in the calf & width. The calf was an entire 1" too big, it was wider at the ankle & my foot was swimming in the boot. They should've kept the same shaft height & extended the calf 1/4" to a 1/2" at the most. This boot is perfect for you if you have extra wide calves, kankles & a wide foot.

Purchased a pair of the Huntress in black, and I absolutely love them. I get compliments everywhere I go. I wear them with the fleece welly liners to mix up my outfits and add a touch of color. The wide width is roomy enough for my athletic calf as well as the fleece liners. The only improvement on these would be to have a few more colors to choose from.

This does have a wide calf but it is so wide at the ankles that it gaps and looks odd. Sent them back.
