i need boots that are designed for wider calfs and these fit perfect. i'm 5'3 and they hit just below the knee. i was really concerned that they would look weird -- but the width of the calf and where they hit on the leg is really perfect. They need to be broken in a bit, but they work well in the snow and rain. These WILL NOT keep your feet warm, so I would recommend getting the welly fleece socks.

These boots are stylish, comfortable and slip on well. I have wide calves and got the wide ones. Well made. I bought two liners and they run true to size also. Perfect fit. Only drawback is that they are heavy.

It was not necessarily a wide calf boot in my humble opinion, only because I own a pair of regular calf Coach boots that fit me better. the cut is a little awkward, more boxy than one would expect from a boot but with the right skinny jeans it could look cute. just wasn't me.
