Hunting for Right Hunter boot

I love the color and gloss of these boots. I ordered the "Original Hunters Gloss" in Navy. They were durable, classic yet chic with my raincoat...so cute! However; I had issues getting them off by myself. I have High arch and instep which makes pull on boots difficult if not impossible. They are a comfortable fit with room for boot liners or pants tucked in. I loved them, after 2 weeks of debating I finally returned them in faith that there were a pair out there just for me! So I ordered the "Huntress" model because they were obviously going to be easier to remove...they were perfect; I just missed the slimmer look at ankle...So I also ordered their "Tour Gloss packable" ones just in case. Glad I did! Added plus?...packability...I live in a small apartment. So happy I hunted around for the right pair!

I bought these boots because they have a wider calf, and I have a hard time getting boots that fit my calf. Unfortunately, with a wider calf they came along with a SUPER wide ankle and slid up and down on my foot. I was hoping that they would fit like a normal Hunter boot in the foot and ankle and just allow for more room in the calf. I am sending these back because they do not stay on my feet

I originally bought the kids size 6 (Im 5'2") and the calf was always too tight. I decided to try the Hunter Short and those were great except they made me look shorter and we're still tight! These are great! They seemed a little more shapeless at first but wearing them around changed my mind. The calf fits great and fit just about up to my knee. My only complaint is I wish they had the same rubber side straps all other Hunters have. It's some type of material. But overall very happy and looking forward to wearing them!

I am in love with my new Hunter boots. HOWEVER, I am a 7.5 and I sized down to a 7 as noted by other customers. I could definitely wear a 6 though. I am going to try them again with my Hunter boot socks when I get them and see if that makes them tighter, if not I may have to exchange for a smaller size.
