Great for wide calf legs

Proswide calf fit
This was the fourth style of Hunters that I ordered and these fit great. I did order a size down and the calf still fit nicely. They are not quite as tall but just above mid range. I am 5'4" and have a wide calf and found the other styles too narrow and too tall. I finally found my Hunters.

For Women with Thicker Calves!!

Proscomfortable
I'm 5'2" with an athletic build and have always had thicker calves. I received the original Hunter boots for Christmas and they came up to my knee and were so snug that it was hard to get them off... with HELP! I've had this problem with rain boots before so I searched Google to see if Hunter made boots to fit my calves without having to get a "short" boot. This is the boot! The "huntress" boot fits like a dream. I probably could've even gone down a size (I'm an 8-8.5 and bought an 8). They are a couple of inches shorter and wider than the original. So happy to finally find a pair that fits comfortably!!

Not a wide calf boot, as advertised

With El Nino here, I thought these would be nice—they were not wide enough to stuff in jeans which is the look I wanted. I am returning them. My calves are actually not heavy, so maybe these are made for thin younger people.
