I purchased these in a 5.5 even though I'm a 6 based on the reviews. There was no extra room with socks on so I'm not sure if sizing down was the best thing. A lot of the reviewers stated that it will eventually stretch out so I'm hoping that is the case. As for the zipper in the back, it doesn't go all the way up so that's a bummer. I have a wider foot and it fine for me.

I bought these for my daughter and she loves them! They go with everything. I bought her a half size down after reading the reviews and they fit perfectly. I'll probably get her another pair for the fall.
