Favorite Diaper Bag
PostedMarch 2, 2015
Prostop choice
I have tried (and own) a bunch of pretty good diaper bags: Timi & Leslie, Skip Hop Duo, Storksak Baby Mel, Perry Mackin.
This bag - which I love - is my absolute favorite for functionality, looks, and quality. It feels comfortable, not to bulky, will still zipped close when overpacked, and has a lot of style and functionality, and looks nice enough that it doesn't cheapen my outfit and scream mommy. It is also very easy to clean inside and out if there are spills.
I can fit the following in for my 9-month old daughter:
- Front zip pocket: Change of clothes, plastic bag for dirty clothes, Nursing cover.
- Outside Side Pocket 1: Phone Charger, Keys, Hand Lotion, Hand Sanitizer, With Room to Spare
- Outside Side Pocket 2: Wubbanub Binky, Small Board Book, Elmo Rattle
- Outside Front Pocket 1: Sanitizing Stuff: Clorox Wipes, Antibacterial Hand Wipes, Pacifier Wipes, Tissue, Baby Hair Brush, Baby Magic Wash (Travel Size) Baby Magic Lotion
- Outside Back Pocket 2: Mommy Stuff: Cell Phone, iPad Mini
And that is just outside of the bag!
Inside there are 2 side pockets for bottles, and 4 large pockets, and a zip pocket. I'm able to put feeding items, sunglasses, makeup, and a hobo wallet in, they are pretty generous in size.
I use a Patemm Pad Diaper Changer and it is too big to fit in the pockets, but it fits perfectly in the middle, with room still for a blanket or jacket. A large pocket inside will hold 4 Size 3 diapers, a OXO wipes dispenser, and diaper cream. Another pocket will hold the folded diaper changing pad that comes with the bag.
I love that this bag doesn't look like a purse so I don't mind carrying it around when I am without the baby.
The straps fit comfortably when the bag is stuffed to the brim and doesn't slide off of your shoulders.
Also, the more that you put it in it, somehow it is still easy to access items without it feeling crowded or overstuffed. The bag doesn't lose its shape, but actually looks cuter.
Last, it will zipped close when stuffed to the brim and you can still easily access pockets with tons of room.
Highly recommended. I have it in two colors. Great investment. You can buy a knock off version made by Carter's (I own that one too), but the quality of this bag is much better in my opinion.
Hopefully this review was helpful for other mommies trying to contemplate which to purchase.

Love this bag

Prosstylish, functional, organized
I love that this bag has so many pockets and places to store items. There are a lot of things to carry for baby, and its overwhelming to me to just throw things into a bag and fish stuff out as needed. I need a more structured diaper bag and that's this bag. I definitely recommend it. And I love that it doesn't look like a diaper bag. It's stylish and functional.

LOVE this bag and the moss green!

Prospractical, easy to clean
My mom ordered this for me as a gift and I absolutely love it! It is very practical, lots of pockets, easy to clean and the moss green color is beautiful. I get so many compliments and the bag really suits my style (practical and discreet but with a designer look, not at all flashy with an annoying print or sequins)...

stylish diaper bag

Prosstylish, lightweight
I purchased this diaper bag in Moss and absolutely love the color! It looks very stylish especially with the gold hardware. Before I purchased this bag, my one concern with the bag was that it would be too large/bulky for my petite frame (I'm 5'0"); however, when the bag arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is not bulky at all. It hugs my body just like a normal tote would. It is also very lightweight which is a nice plus! I like how easy it is to organize as the bag has pockets all around the bottom interior of the bag; of course, it also has the pouch on the exterior as the pictures show. I must admit that I have not yet used it as my baby is not due for another 10 days, but I am very excited to use it soon and have already packed it for the hospital. Thank you Nordstrom for selling such a stylish diaper bag! Oh, and I got this because I did not want a bag that was "cutsie" with flowers or colors, so if you are someone who is looking for a diaper bag (without it being obvious that it is a diaper bag), the Storksak Olivia is a good choice!
