I broke my 50-year-old strand of fake pearls recently and bought these to replace them. The length is good -- they go around at least three times, or can be knotted toward the bottom -- but the luster isn't nearly as lovely as those I'm replacing. Maybe it's a function of newer fake pearls not being made as richly as they were fifty years ago. They're quite a bit whiter, and they don't hang quite as beautifully as my old ones, but when blended with other strands they look good.

Prosfashionable, versatile, good for mixing, timeless, classic, light
If you know your metric, you know these are small spheres. They are perfect for layering with dainty long chains when you're trying to achieve the multiple-strand-multiple-medium look that is so popular. They are much lighter than the 10mm version, too. I bought the grey and the white and love them!

While these may look small compared to others, they are long enough that you can wear them tripled and nested with other chains, very chic! The pink has a hint of grey that you don't see in the photo, very sophisticated, not a little girl pink.

The 6mm pearls were too small...I returned them and got the 10mm ones which were perfect!
