Best Mascara EVER!

Prosvolumizing, lengthening
I love this mascara! It goes on very easily and doesn't need a bunch of coats to make my lashes look longer and thicker. It is one I can wear alone without any other eye makeup. You could call me a mascara junkie I have tried hundreds of different brands. Some I like and would buy again if I could not find Yves St. Laurent Volume Effet Faus Cils Nior Radical. I keep coming back to this mascara! It does not smear or run off during the day. I found I need to remove it with eye makeup remover, but well worth it!! Again - I LOVE IT!!! Best of all I get compliments on my lashes every time I wear it!
I bought this when the regular YSL mascara was out of stock at my local Nordstrom and liked this idea of a blacker black. Well, this stuff smears like crazy. I can clean it off three or four times and I still wake up with smudges under my eyes. It drives me absolutely crazy.

YSL Volume Effet Faux Cils Noir Radical

I am a LONG time user of the regular YSL Faux Cils mascara (it is the Holy Grail) but decided to give this one a try because I was drawn in my the advertisement of it being "the blackest black". I did not have a problem of it being too wet and not drying, or having racoon eyes like other reviewers. However, I did have a problem in that I did not think it was any blacker than the regular mascara. I also did not find it as volumizing as the regular mascara. In fact, it kind of stuck my eyelashes together in skinny clumps, instead of making them look fuller. I think I am going to return this to the store and get the regular Faux Cil. I will not be buying this version again.
