I have been using this as my second cleanser after using an oil makeup remover. I am on the fence with it--this product leaves my skin almost "squeaky" clean, but I haven't broken out from the fragrance, so that's good (and I usually break out from a lot of harsh, fragranced cleansing foams). When my skin is too dry and dehydrated, I have horrible "dry circles" around fading acne marks and very deep crow's feet at the sides of my eyes.
I've found that a pearl-sized amount of this is best. I don't get any negative side effects if I use the right amount.
I use a pearl-sized drop for my whole face because the foaming on this is VERY good. It removes all my remaining make-up in the second step and my face is literally a "blank canvas" for my essences, lotions, treatments, etc. One could easily say, "Use soap for foaming!" but I'd break out. The fact that I do not get acne and that my texture is smoother makes me like this more.
I do not recommend people with very dry skin use this, or if you do, you need to use it sparingly as I do and follow up with moisturizers, or risk skin that looks washed out, dry and dull.
This cleanser is great, I don’t know how I used anything else. My skin literally looks brighter after using it. You only need to use a small amount and it foams up very nice and leaves a very clean and non greasy feel.
