Some earlier reviews mentioned this product leaves a sticky feeling which they might be looking at the wrong product. There is another softener coming with identical package but is noted "Enriched" and is for dry skin (the sample I tried was very thick and does leave a sticky feeling on my skin). This "balancing" softener is not sticky at all and works fine on my combination skin.

This softener works fine for me. First I wash my face, then wipe my face with this softener, and then I apply moisturizer. I don't see much of a difference in my skin's complexion, but I do like this one better than the other Shiseido lines since it does not make me feel too dry or too oily.

I could do without this softener. It leaves your skin feeling sticky so don't apply too much. I have very sensitive dry skin but it didn't cause any rashes or break outs for me. I only used it because I got it as a gift but otherwise I would not buy this one again.

I didn't see a difference with this toner. It left my skin feeling sticky. Isn't a softener supposed to leave your skin feeling soft?
